If You could be any other Sportsman/Woman???

Apart from a Footballer what would it be.

I'd go for being a Swimmer.

I would'nt want to be a footballer as they are all fannies these day's. If I could have been any one as a footballer it would have been George Best without the drink problem. But my ultimate sportsman to be would have been George Foreman to have that power strength and punch and attitude to bounce Joe Frazier round like a punch bag to walk through Ken Norton like he was made of paper no way I!d have let that old man Ali fool me into punching myself out I'd have waited and retired him as he should have done and then gone on to wipe out Holmes before he even got started and retired undefeated. Then I'd come back have a few fights to warm up and blast that prick Tyson out inside three rounds then retire the greatest ever.

I always admired Ellery Hanley in how he conducted himself on and off the park. A magnificent player and a gentleman to boot by all accounts.
One of my mates had a picture taken of Hanley with his daughters, one sat on either of his arms. They were about six to nine at the time and the picture had pride of place in his wallet!
They regularly went, and still do, as a family to watch Wigan.
