Gartside's Worst Manager - Lee v Megson

As we move on to the next round in this head-to-head vote the scores are looking like this so far after Round 1 -

Coyle - 17 votes
Megson - 16,
Freedman - 16, and
Lee - 9.

Nothing in it between the top three with people being surprisingly forgiving of Sammy Lee so far, in my opinion.

The first up of Round 2, puts up Little Sammy - (11 transfers in and all bar Bogdan were shit) Lee against Gary (Ginger Mourinho) Megson.

We were below Derby when Lee left and Megson arrived don't forget!

Obviously lee, he was useless. Megson was a dickhead but Atleast he had some sort of idea and an eye for talent.

i was going to put Amen then changed my mind, Nat's a god botherer and she might take offence!

Lee because Megson steered us to safety.

Lee, his record speaks for itself.

Megson. I've said enough on the subject already.

Lee is a fantastic coach but useless at managing (except for a great pre-season!).  So can't really have a bad word to say about him as he served the club well under Big Sam.

I'm giving Sammy Lee my vote here. Pleasant enough chap and all that, but never seemed to have a clue as it relates to managing a team. Megson had a clue but was most odious and arrogant.

I think we'd have gone down had he not been sacked, which is criminal, taking into account the players we had. His tactics seemed so basic, it was like a 10 year old child was picking the team.

He maybe didn't cock the club up in the same way that Megson and Coyle did but only because he wasn't given the time to.

Brilliant how some of the posters who are slagging off Lee (who only got 9 games) are the same ones saying Freedman should be given more time.
