After another fantastic 3 points against Huddersfield at home, we now play Reading away this coming Saturday.

Reading are currently sitting in 14th whilst Bolton are currently 18th and making good steady progress up the table.

Reading's last 5 results are:

Norwich 1-2 Reading (Win)
Cardiff 2-1 Reading (Loss)
Reading 0-1 Charlton (Loss)
Reading 3-0 Rotherham (Win)
Blackburn 3-1 Reading (Loss)

With Reading only winning 2 out of their 5 last games, I feel we will come away with a minimum of a point although not sure if we can come away with 3!

My prediction: Reading 1-1 Bolton

How do you all feel we will do?

On the basis that there is very little between the teams and we've been riding our luck a bit, I think we might just get a draw if our luck holds. 1 - 1.

I'm with wanderlust. This will be a draw, 0-0 or 1-1. I can't see us taking all 3 points because Reading's defence is fairly solid and we still aren't finishing well enough to take the tough games.

I'd like to be wrong and see a win of course but I feel a point away would still be a positive result and would be happy with it if the performance was good.

It's like the past 5 years never happened for most of you. We are awful away from home, we only just held Blackpool.

Won't be 7-0 again but we are still a tad weak away from home.  1-0 them.

I was there last year and was embarrassed (although the rub of the green definitely favoured Reading). It would be great to be able to exact revenge this time and I expect the players will be especially motivated to avoid any more humiliation.
One thing made me laugh a year ago: Ngog scored with a minute or so to go at 7-0 down.....and rushed to pick the ball out of the back of the net and slam it down on the centre spot as if we could score 6 more in the remaining seconds! Couldn't fault his enthusiasm but was very concerned about his brain......
At least Le Fondre won't be there to repeat his hat-trick!

It's not that so much Nat. It's my opinion we'll get a point because Reading are nothing like as good as they were this time last year and we're definitely playing better than we have in quite a while. We mullered Blackpool but paid for poor finishing and their goal was a great free kick. We immediately came back and got an equaliser whereas under DF it would have sunk us without trace. I honestly feel that on current form we're good for a point here and might with a touch of luck nick all three.

This is when Lennon will find out the real character of his players IMO, we have Reading away and Ipswich at home coming up - I honestly can't see us winning either game.

A point if we are lucky from the Reading game.

Ref watch: Hill takes the whistle

Hertfordshire-based Keith Hill will take charge of Wanderers’ trip to Reading on Saturday.

An experienced Football League official, Mr Hill has overseen four Whites matches in the past having been reffing games since the 1998/99 season.

Mr Hill’s most recent Bolton match came last year at Elland Road when goals from Joe Mason, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Zat Knight, Mark Davies and Andre Moritz secured a famous 5-1 victory for the Trotters.

Dave Bushell and Ashvin Degnarain will run the line, while Charles Breakspear is the fourth official.

Has there ever been a more pointless/boring article as 'Ref watch'? Especially in the championship where nobody's ever heard of them most weeks.
