Pink Floyd v Led Zeppelin

Floyd all day long.

Close call because I like them both.

Two different genres IMO. Like bits of them both but for different reasons.

Pink Floyd for me.

All depends on my mood.

Floyd went belly up when Roger Waters left, and a fair amount of dross in their catalogue IMO.
However they have hit the heights, albeit rather inconsistently.
LZ's albums upto and including Physical Grafitti are classics, then for me they started to dip culminating in John Bonhams death.
Their bluesy stuff takes some beating.

McCartney needs to stop eating veggy burgers and get a good steak down him. That Olympic performance was embarrassing.
l cant see him doing a BB King to be honest.

FWIW I don't think Paul McCartney had a particularly good singing voice. Anyone who thinks otherwise must be tone deaf.

macca had a great voice but its fucked now due to a number of reasons.

Elton had a great voice but its fucked as well, they both have abused their throats and continually over used them through touring an enormous amount.

Pink Floyd. I always felt LZ ripped off other artists and claimed to have written songs that didn't belong to them. The most recent example involved allegations that they stole a riff from Randy California (guitarist with Spirit).
