However good he is at the moment, it takes more than three quarters of a good season and one goal for England to be classed as a legend.

Stop looking for the Brucie alternative.
That way lies madness.

I think he could be a Real Madrid player in a couple of years.

37 minutes and he's touched it twice.

Ergo, he's shit.

He did alright considering our midfield was crap.

If Phil Jones is an international player, then so am I.

Delph

Henderson

Walcott

Ross Barkley is the biggest waste of space in the PL. He never plays well. He is fecking useless.

He's good but he's way too greedy. Kinda reminds me of Sturridge when he played here. Loads of talent but thinks he can do everything himself.

Spot on about Phil Jones. Lumbering carthorse springs to mind.

If you're talking about Barkley I completely agree, takes way too many touches too often. His best attribute is the way he drives at defences but too often he ends up overrunning it or not picking the right pass. Needs a lot of coaching to fulfil his potential i think.

Thought the Italian defence put Kane in their pocket last night. There was a fair bit of wrestling involved, but at least defenders now know how to silence him.
Quite a few other England players were not at their best last night, but at least they improved a bit second half and I can at least see what Woy is trying to achieve, but it will need this squad to be on top form every game if England are going to compete.

Kane came up against a quality, very experienced centre back in Chiellini and it was a good lesson for him on what to expect at international level. He was made to look like a little boy, couldn't find a way around the italian.
