Shit, sorry my fault.
Someone asked why there was no Radio Nuts today and I replied but not before you had (you are on the beach somewhere!), I thought I'd delete my post but must have hit the delete 'thread' by mistake.
Sorry to everyone who has had their posts deleted.
My mistake.

Getting hammered 4-1 and are clueless about what to do about it. They're predictably hopeless- collapsed yet again..
Is it time that Lennon started to think about his next job?

As I said all Summer, they lack a captain and a leader on the pitch.
Mark Davies as captain? Fooking joke.

Haven't seen the game but that is some surrender away at a very average team.
If Lennon can't motivate players to at least go down fighting it doesn't bode well.

Words completely fail me!
There must have been a hidden message when Sluffy deleted this match thread by mistake.
I can't believe we have let 4 goals in, Huddersfield are nothing special.

Pretty much in line with where you'd expect us to be, given Gartside's approach to fiscal policy.
ie, cut costs wherever possible, lay off half the staff, spend fuck all, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
(Apart from buying a new big screen for the rapidly diminishing crowd to watch replays of the opposition's goals on.)

Don't agree. Can't keep blaming lack of funds for lack of passion on the pitch.
Passion and commitment should be a given from any professional footballer regardless of his ability.
Sadly, we don't even get that at Bolton.

I agree with you - they're obviously not up for the fight.
But could that be because they're a bunch of journeyman fuckwits who are going through the motions because they're only at Bolton because no-one else will entertain them because they are shit?
Like Madine for example.
And that has everything to do with having no money.

I guess so. But even a bunch of journeymen fuckwits should have a bit of passion. You could pick 11 blokes out of the crowd to play and they'd give you 100% commitment, shame 11 professionals being paid £10k+ per week can't give us the same.

More money = better players

Since we could not see this one, tell us what happened to our defense? Were we just lucky the past 4 weeks? Losing to a promoted team is not what I thought we would do today. Bodes very poorly for the season. We will be lucky to stay within the bottom six at this rate. Too many early season injuries, but today was not because of injury but lack of desire it sounds like! 2 shots on goal all game! I'm sure NL will be up their proverbial backsides all week to reverse this result.

And the big problem is, even though they're shit and nobody else wants them, the very fact that they're professional footballers makes them think they're special and they develop a sense of entitlement at 18 that stays with them for life.
So you wind up with pricks like Madine who think the normal rules don't apply to them and they can coast through life, doing what they want and still picking up ridiculous money.
Without pulling their tripe out.
30 years ago young footballers had to sweep the changing rooms and clean the senior players' boots to keep them grounded and give them something to aspire to.
Could you see that happening now?
They've all got a Twitter account, a Bentley and a fucking clothing line at 18 now and think they've made it.
Even the shit that we end up with.
It's all given to them on a plate so they don't see the need to work hard and try and improve because once you've signed a pro contract in any league, not just the Prem, you're going to make enough money to retire and live a very comfortable life at 30.
Hence, no passion or commitment.
They're all twats nowadays and ours are the worst of the lot because we can only afford to give contracts to the barrel scrapings that nobody else wants.

If that was the case then you would have thought they they would put more commitment into it etc to attract others clubs for their services.Breadman wrote:I agree with you - they're obviously not up for the fight.
