Just had my bath ruined by having to listen to UB40 on the radio.

(I couldn't reach it to re-tune it from my prone position amongst the bubbles and I wasn't risking standing up in the bath, holding an electrical appliance and fiddling with it.)

I've always harboured a strong dislike of UB40 and I don't really know why if I'm honest.

I'm not a reggae fan but I've never wanted to accost any of the members of Aswad or Burning Spear and slap them about a bit - I just leave reggae alone and it ignores me.

But UB40's music has always got under my skin and I honestly hate it and them without really knowing why.

Maybe it's Ali Campbell and his whiny, Brummie crooning that grates on me - I dunno but I just can't listen to him or his music.

And this extends to karaoke.

UB40's songs are sadly particularly popular with karaoke singers, as I have discovered over the years.

I can't even stand to listen to some random stranger bang out Kingston Town or Red Red Wine.

What about you lot?

I don't just mean bands or singers that you don't like, I mean someone who makes you turn the radio off if one of their tunes comes on or you have to leave the bar you're in if some goon sticks one on the jukebox.

Come on, spill......it's cathartic.

Don't call her Tash, she doesn't like it.

She shouted at me once for doing that.

I doubt she will be on the chat box tomorrow as she will be cheering Chorley on against Stockport.

Always loved Bohemian Rhapsody. Smile

When I was a bit younger and when I hadn't had a shave, some folk used to call me Freddie Mercury! Shocked
