wanderlust wrote:You brought up the racist thing Boggers. It is a fact though that Immigration is the number one concern of the Leave voters and whether or not that's due to racism, tribalism, nationalism or something else varies from person to person.

But surely you understand that Remain voters feel very cheated by this con.

If the Labour Party had said vote for us and we'll give every person in the country a million pounds, a sports car and a luxury home, swept to power and then turned round and said "Well we were just kidding about the money and the car and the house - but we won so who cares?" I imagine the nation would feel the same.

Those lying toerags Farage, Gove and Johnson have just done exactly that.

There will be no reduction in immigration - they can't deliver it and if anything immigration is likely to increase.
There will be no "extra £350 million a day for the NHS" as we only pay £40 million to Europe anyway and that is less than a tenth of half a percent of our fiscal spending budget or f*** all to coin a technical term.
They can't take control and self-govern because they haven't a clue about how Government or international finance works and they'll never get elected after this fiasco.
Meanwhile we are all substantially poorer as a result of their stupidity because the fate of people and the quality of life is determined by nothing more than confidence - confidence in Britain which they have eroded.

Remain voters have every reason to be angry. Leave voters should and probably will be even more angry when none of the "promises" are delivered and they finally realise they've been used to further the careers of three desperate no hopers who clearly don't give a monkey's about Britain.

Why don't we see what happens ? Getting our knickers in a knot wont help anyone, and whether we like it or not, we all have to pull together on this one now.

I personally think the country, and its people, are strong enough to get over this, and progress. I would rather we look at this as a new challenge instead of bemoaning what could have been.

You have more confidence than me gloss when one cretin this afternoon, whom I might add is educated and I've known for years, voted leave because he didn't think it would happen. I really am full of despair,  I'm supposedly a complete numpty according to folk on here and I have to listen to this utter banal shite! Ffs we are bollox ed,  where are Gillette when you need them? Pulled out the country early!!!
We have no choice but see what happens now Glos - and I admire your pragmatism.

If the money wankers want it to fail then it will fail.

Pick your fucking bottom lips up and work together to make the country better.

Think we can get away with at least a couple of weeks moaning considering the irreversible nature of the result.

That's half the fun isn't it?

It wasn't aimed at anyone on here 74, it's about the money men and the ones who have the power.

I would Stan, but I just lost a shedload of money, my house has devalued and my pension's worth less overnight so I'm slightly distracted for now whilst I replan my life, but I'll be with you shortly to celebrate the end of immigration, record investment in the NHS, and the return to the feudal system. And like every other twat that feels conned I will pick up my lip and work to make the country better because that's what we do despite putting the future of our children in the hands of the people from the land of Shakespeare, Turner, The Beatles and Elgar who voted a dog as the best talent in Britain.

I wouldn't expect anything else 74.

As long as I'm not called racist, a Daily Mail reader or a Boris Johnson fan then I can make a do with a bit of moaning.  Smile

We went through it just 8 years ago so I wouldn't worry too much.

It'll pick up, the money wankers are creatures of habit.

Funnily enough, that job is on the up now with the increasing popularity of wood burning stoves.

I think the majority of the country voted out due to the fact that if we stayed in the EU, they'd be more folk coming from all parts of Europe (interbreeding) us British out, then in 20 years time we'd be a minority in our own country, plus we are a strong enough country to be on our own, we can do what we think is right for us now, instead of trying not to upset the rest of the countries.

I strongly believe that in a couple of years ( after the scaremongering stops ) we'd be in a better situation . And I don't regret one bit about voting out, fuck the people that their only interest was to retire to Spain , it's not about them dicks, it's about this country and the people in it.

That's really comforting to know that in your opinion you think we'll be alright.
Can you go one step further and tell us your qualification to come to that conclusion, it would be further reassuring considering most of the experts state we are mad to leave?

Hope this comment is part of your act. We're a country of immigrants as it is, we colonised the world in very recent history and now you're paranoid about us being 'interbred'? You sound like a Nazi. Aren't you part Irish anyway?

It's worrying people can think such things - this sort of nonsense is the problem the more sensible 'leavers' have to contend with unfortunately.

Nobody knows for sure pal, but I think it's worth the risk.

We'll come through it though, we'll be more in control and that can only be a good thing.
