Jussi and Bogdan prop up save percentage table.

Do these stats actually mean anything? Especially when you see people like Cech down the bottom.

Probably says more for the defence than the keepers but non the less here's the stats

You'd think the keepers from the bottom teams would have more saves as you'd expect them to have more shots raining in on them.

Stats can be minipulated quite easily, but I am surprised by these.

I'm not - just think of the defence infront of these keepers. Cech is not out of the ordinary considering when AVB was in charge of Chelsea, and they were leaking goals (even though winning quite a few games). Crap defence = more pressure on the keepers and hence more goals being let in!

I don't read much into stats, but it has occurred to me before that Bogdan doesn't make many really good saves. I sometimes worry that catching is all there is to his game.

I think thats a bit far from the truth, i lost count of the amount of excellent saves he made last season, mostly to keep us from further embarrassment, but he did keep us in a few games too.

(of course he also made a couple of clangers!)
