His huge store of paintings only came to light after his death. I'm sure the art snobs will have something to say about them.

I was watching an old episode of Bullseye the other night, on Challenge, and some of the prizes on Bully's prize board made me laugh.
One of them was a TV set that looked like a huge box. It had four screw in legs, and you probably had to get out of your armchair to change channels manually. And yet, I remember them well, because we had one. Ours even had sliding doors across the front.
TV's used to be a piece of furniture. How times have changed.

It was only up to my granddads death 4 years ago that he used to mention how good the prizes were on Bullseye not realising that they were old episodes from the 80's.

I think it's the fact that police were deployed to guard the replacement banana that amuses me most.

The time has come. It's time to clamber into the loft to get the Christmas tree down.

This has become something of a performance in recent years, and I'm not looking forward to it. My brother said he'd get it for me, but I'm not having that bastard getting one over on me. He's five years younger than me and thinks that makes him an athlete.
He's almost as accident prone as I am. He was knocked unconscious once after crashing his bike into a stationary car.
His excuse was that he was momentarily distracted by a man skipping in his front garden! What kind of an excuse is that?
He also had to go to A+E when he got a ball bearing stuck up his nose. What an embarrassment.
