Makes sense. Right age, pacy, good on the ball, occasional goal, cultured left foot and no fee.
Slight concern might be that he's had a few injuries.

You'd imagine so, but Evatt seems to like Gordon and he's young and quick so depending on our finances I'm just wondering if he's thinking about moving Decberto on to free up a few bob or simply to get more pace down the side?

There's been plenty of hints that this was going to happen and it will be good when the announcement is finally made official.

Good luck to Fulham next season in the PL - I think they only need a point or two to be mathematically certain of promotion, so they will be going up bar some sort of miracle stopping them.

Watched the Cambridge match as they beat Wigan yesterday and Iredale looked good. Put in some great crosses, was nippy - I wouldn't say super fast - but he can defend and has good positional sense. Thought he'd be a great addition if we can get him, especially if we get Fossey on the other wing. All good provided we sort out our soft centre.

I would be amazed if Fossey signs for us, he'll end up at Wigan or Sunderland.

I've no news on Iredale at the moment. If its true it's nowhere near more than a wishlist.

Regarding the rest of the retained list.

As we know, Jack Iredale is expected to leave [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] despite being offered a new contract. My understanding is that a potential move to Bolton Wanderers is quite far down the line. More a case of ‘when’ not ‘if’. We should find out soon.
