I love Lisa O'Neill, so how better to start the new year.

I stumbled across this chill out album from 1990 so if anyone is into this kind of stuff or has just staggered home from a night clubbing and can't sleep (for whatever reason ) make a cup of tea and space out. I'd forgotten I have this because it's by the pop divas The KLF who famously turned their backs on the music industry and burnt a million quid. Apparently they've rejoined this week. They churned out some pap but I got this because it's so different from anything else they did and samples Elvis and Floyd amongst others.

THis isn't music but an interview which includes a recording of Johnny Rotten outing Jimmy Savile back in 1978 - despite which Savile carried on abusing kids for years after:

I did used to be a fan of KLF till they started singing about ice cream vans

I'm not up on this sort of stuff. I thought they were a terrorist group.

I thought they were cringeworthy bordering on absolute shite TBH - which is why I was blown away when I asked who it was when it sounded just perfect (esp the Elvis track) sat round a fire by the canal on a summer's night.

DBT released 2 excellent albums in 2020. This is off "The Unravelling"

Great album to listen to on a Sunday morning, it's done very well in all the end of year polls. The album is called Punisher and it's by Phoebe Bridgers if you like this.

And another from the album the last track and is fantastic!

Really liked those 2 tracks Norpig, especially the second one. I will definitely be investigating that album further.
