I am really shocked that Blackpool have appointed Appleton. Why? Why is this guy even being linked with jobs like Bolton, Burnley, Palace, Blackpool, etc? I know he has had a tough task at Portsmouth, but he has no experience and is 17th in the league in his first season as a manager. I just don't understand it at all.

Apparently Owen Coyle has already turned down several jobs in England since his sacking. I reckon he should have taken the Hartlepool job, as that surely must have been the highest ranked team to actually want him?!
