Johnston out for the season!

Unfortunately, it looks like we need to bring in another defender - we can't go into the season lightweight in that area.
From the reports it seems Sadlier had another decent game - surely, we have room for this lad IMO.

That is a blow as they would have been starters for me. At least we have Jones and Iredale as decent replacements.

It’s certainly a kick in the teeth and we can only keep fingers tightly crossed that Johnson’s injury is not as serious as it looks or he can probably write the season off. I’m not sure we need to rush into signing another centre back though, we still have Rico, Iredale, Jones and Forrester plus MJ who can fit in there in emergency. I still think new signings need to be in the creative department although as terranceanne says, Sadlier looks far to useful to dispose of and has the plus of being a goalscorer too and one of the best shooters we have.

Toal is probably our best player.

Terrible news! Definitely need another CB now.
