EFL Trophy: Stockport 0-2 Bolton

Our last game until the 25th November takes us to Stockport County for the next game of the EFL Trophy before our mini break.

Will Ian Evatt let some of our first team take a much needed rest and play some of our more fringe players or is he still after defending this trophy?

We’ve already qualified so should be very much a weakened team.  Saw reports that’s Stockport were going to do the same too.  But we’ll see

I don’t think IE has much choice now with injuries and 5 first team players away on international duty so looking forward to seeing some of our younger players get a chance. Surely the likes of Matheson will get a start at least and does anybody know where Max Conway is? I thought he’d been recalled from his loan period but I’ve heard nothing of him since. I suppose Victor will still start but I hope Bod gets the other striker place to show he’s properly fit. To be fair we do have a break after this so starting most of the first teamers shouldn’t be an issue which County haven’t got so they’re more likely to make changes than we are? We only need a draw and I can’t see us not getting that so without Charles I’ll go 1-1.

The stage is set for Big Dan to shine - maybe even a hat-trick perhaps?

Even just one goal would be a great start!

Wouldn't normally bother, but as I've paid for an International season pass I'll probably watch it.

To be fair Bonce most of our EFL games have been pretty entertaining and obviously we need to try to put County back in their box from last time.

I know. The last goal in off the post was ruled offside.

7-0 wouldn't have flattered us.

This was a no contest - we should have had six without breaking a sweat.
Some of the most hilarious finishing I have seen in a while.  Some more work on the training ground with shooting and composure. 
Good work from all tonight - No need to bang on about Bod - obviously must start soon. Dan was pretty good today and Maga has the ability to stroll past people like they are not there.....just needs to apply himself.
