Medo, he likes a shot...

From the minimal highlights I have seen, I have watched Medo hit the back of the net with one long range effort, seen another one lead to the Alonso goal and a third came close in the second half of the Wolves game.

Does he shoot all the time?

Why yes - yes he does. It has been a feature of his game at previous clubs where he'll look up from midfield and if there's a shot, he'll take it. He's scored a few as youtube will confirm.

He had a few long range shots on saturday, his first one led to the Alonso goal and had another crack in the 2nd half which wasn't far off.

He certainly has an eye for a long ranger, which is fine by me.

That's another reason I like him, he's not scares to have a pop from outside the area.

That's just what we need, a goal scoring midfielder.

Forwards take note, run in for the rebound.

He has a decent shot, powerful and so far fairly accurate. Providing he uses it appropriately i.e. when there's not a better option on (which TBF isn't as often as it might be with our team) it's a good thing and I'll be happy with him having a dip as long as he doesn't start spraying it high and wide all the time which would soon turn the fans against him. Keeps the opposition on their toes.
