I was browsing in Sports Direct today where I saw a set of Aston Villa shirts on sale at a tenner. At no point was actually buying it a serious consideration, but curiosity got the better of me. I picked my size and moved gingerly to the fitting room.

I didn't half look the part in it, which got me thinking. That I would turn my nose up at what was a fantastic economical fashion opportunity all for the sake of football loyalty and all that is quite something.

Judging by the number they had stocked, I'm guessing they're expecting some non-Villa supporters to buy them so who are they?

Would you wear a rival shirt if it looked good?

Your post made me laugh.

But no one looks good in a football shirt. It's the chav uniform.

Aside from going to watch a match or playing I wouldn't wear a football shirt. I think they're for kids to be honest, adults tend to look like dickheads in them (no offence, I'm sure you don't).

Definitely wouldn't wear a rivals shirt anyway.

I'm more worried you were in sports direct tbh. What on earth would anyone buy in there.

I'll let you off if you say something like a tennis racquet or a football.

Sports Direct is great.

I agree with Natasha, you're definitely a Debenhams man, or maybe Florence & Fred.

Debenhams is a little above my age tbh. Probably have a look in there in 3 or 4 years though.

I Never wear a football shirt out - I agree, Men look like dickheads in them.

I buy most of them but wear them in the house with shorts when im just 'lounging around' I Dont go out in them though... ever.

Only exception to this is the England shirt from about 4 years ago - the white one with the polo collar and the tailored fit -Thats a sexy shirt.
