Leeds want to sign Mills for £1million

Leeds United boss Brian McDermott is tabling a £1million bid for Bolton defender Matt Mills.

The 26-year-old was a key part of McDermott's line up during his days at Reading and he wants to be re-united with the 6ft 3ins centre-back.

Bolton manager Dougie Freedman is happy to sell as he starts to rebuild his squad.

Get shut, probably coyles worst signing in terms of defenders IMO, he never won a header and made Knight look like Xavi when it comes to passing a ball.

It was under McDermott that he made his name as a hot prospect. He hasn't always been the waste of space he's been for us. I can imagine him coming good for Leeds. We still have to take the money though.
