Laughing

Is jealousy the reason people are always trying to discredit Nixon?

He gets a lot right, so obviously people are going to listen to what he says.

Not the end of the world is it.

ANDRE Moritz will speak with Wanderers over a potential move later today.

The Brazilian front man, who opted not to extend his contract at Crystal Palace last month, is well known to Dougie Freedman who snapped him up from Turkish club Mersin last summer.

It is understood that he will discuss a move before tonight's friendly with Rotherham United – but that the terms of the deal have not yet been agreed.

Nixon says he's agreed a deal with the manager and I'd believe him over the Bolton news

Some Blackburn and Burnley fans think that Nixon has got it in for their clubs anyway, because of the hatred shown towards Coyle and Keane, so maybe he enjoys writing bollocks for them? Very Happy
Nixon is reliable but reveals info too soon which puts it at a risk. Marc Iles would never jeopardise a signing and reveals info when the time is right

WANDERERS are aiming to snap up yet another summer bargain after opening talks with ex-Crystal Palace winger Andre Moritz.

Dougie Freedman told The Bolton News a fortnight ago that the Brazilian ace was on his shortlist and it is understood he met with the Whites boss before last night’s friendly at Rotherham United.

Moritz already has offers from Brazil and China but is keen to work with Freedman again after spending a few months playing for him at Selhurst Park last season.

Wanderers had been lining up a move for Moritz if Palace had not been promoted to the Premier League – but the fact that he turned down a deal in the top flight has arrived as a welcome surprise.
After a summer holiday, Moritz met with Eagles boss Ian Holloway a few weeks ago to discuss a new one-year deal. But while Palace were keen to keep hold of the former Fluminese and Kayserispor star but sources close to the player have hinted that he was unhappy with the tactical approach Holloway was planning to use in the top flight.

Freedman’s more modern approach would seem to appeal, with Moritz and his representatives speaking in positive terms over a potential deal at the Reebok.

With Jermaine Beckford’s protracted move from Leicester City expected to be confirmed today, Moritz’s arrival would be Wanderers’ eighth of the summer.

And assuming that Beckford does agree a settlement with the Foxes to sign for free – it would mean that Freedman has only paid out cash for tribunal fees for Rob Hall, Hayden White and Conor Wilkinson all summer.

Deal off apparently. Seems we can't even afford a free agent, either that or he's got a chance of prem football... Orr we're saving our cash for something Wink

Not always a question of not being able to afford. Some players value themselves highly and price themselves out of the market. Bolton have historically paid decent wages

It wont be.

He's a free agent. Gartside would have smelled a cheap deal...

Only issue is, Gartsides idea of a cheap deal would have been to ask him to take a 98% pay-cut and then, when the offer is refused, give a speech about 'not getting held to ransom'

...Trust me, the ransom speech is coming soon.

I don't follow him btw but going off whats on this thread.

It appears he said we had an interest (we did, he was the first to break it)

He was coming back for talks (manager confirmed he was keen so i assume they took place)

I assume there was a difference somewhere if it doesn't come off but you'd hardly say he was "Wrong" on this story.

So am I.

Boggers started the thread (on the 15th) with Moritz to sign tomorrow.

Jake asked... according to who?

Sluffy said Nixon and then put up some goobledygook from Nixon about how Moritz was going to Brazil and then changed his mind.

Suspect
