India launches first home-built aircraft carrier

India has launched its first ever home-built aircraft carrier - This is a country which still receives foreign aid from the UK (But will be stopped in 2015) - I think this is scandalous, if India can afford to spend money on an aircraft carrier then the aid should stop immediately. Leave the country to use its own wealth to help its citizens.

Never mind about a boat - they've got their own space programme!

Even their president said last year -

"We do not require the aid. It is a peanut in our total development expenditure".
