Guardian quote :-
'The TV star and sometime chef, Gordon Ramsay, has admitted planting (or getting his son to plant) a camera in his teenage daughter's bedroom to make sure she's revising and not making out with her boyfriend. "They seem to be spending a lot of time revising and yet the results aren't … So I said to him [son: Jack]: "Look mate, here's 20 quid, go and target your big sister's room'.

The man is not just a foul mouthed bully but a sick pervert.

Sounds like a father trying to do the best for his daughter.

Ramsey is a nice guy, I've met him twice and on both occasions he was polite and friendly. You do realise his TV image is no more real than Homer Simpson?

I believe he's a legend in his own mind, and is trying to live up to his own hype. I used to like him, but think he's just unbelievable now. The term, 'full of shit' springs to mind.

Did he ever play for Rangers? Thought it came out that he made it up and only played in a testimonial/charity match.

Football career

Ramsay played football and was first chosen to play under-14 football at age 12. He was chosen to play for Warwickshire. His football career was marked by injuries, causing him to remark later in life, "Perhaps I was doomed when it came to football".[9] In mid-1984, Ramsay had a trial with Rangers, the club he supported as a boy. He seriously injured his knee, smashing the cartilage during training.[12] Ramsay continued to train and play on the injured knee, tearing a cruciate ligament during a squash game.
Ramsay has claimed to have played two first team games for Rangers.[13] According to his autobiography Ramsay played "a couple of non-league matches as a trialist" for Rangers[14] and was signed by the club at the age of 15.[15]
Allan Cairns, the photographer who took the picture in September 1985, said the photo was not one of Rangers first team but a side picked to play a testimonial match. A Rangers spokesman said: "Ramsay was a trialist in that testimonial game. He trained with us for a few months after that but then got injured."[16]
