I would vote for it if mistakes could be eliminated.
Not hanging or electrocution or lethal injection.
I think some kind of extremely quick head removal machine a blade thats so fast on the button that the condemned wouldn,t know a thing.
It would eventually work as a deterant i reckon especially if it was filmed for public viewing.
I like it anyway.

I would bring it back tomorrow for repeat offenders. Not just for murder, but for rape and child abuse as well.

Why not? Why waste money on keeping them behind bars?

I believe if you deliberately take a life you should forfeit your own how fair is that?

What you say is both equitable and logical, Angry Dad.

However, you have already mentioned the possibility of mistakes being made. I could never advocate capital punishment while there is even a 0.0000001% chance of executing an innocent person.

And even if we are dealing with someone who is clearly guilty, I just feel that the punishment for murder should not be to be murdered in the name of justice. This isn't the Old Testament or an Islamist state.

It wont be long before the latter becomes reality.

That's why I think it should be for repeat offenders, not many people have gone down for seperate crimes they didn't commit.
