Alan Nixon is a sports journalist and well in with Owen Coyle, hence all the spot on info during Coyles tenure.
I'm not sure what links inside the club he has now but he still has more insider info of what is going on than most people.
He's a prolific twitterer.
Some think he is a bag of wind but I tend to think there is a grain of truth in most things he says - many of which do actually come to nothing.
