This guy was supposed to be the real deal last season. Really knew what he was doing apparently.
Now after a crap first 17 games, he doesn't know what day it is according to Wigan fans.
It's funny how that happens.
They turned on Coyle the minute it started to go wrong being as he was ex-Bolton, I don't think Whelan would make that mistake again in appointing Freedman. I hope they get somebody equally dire though.

Strange how Rosler nearly got them promoted after they sacked Coyle. His record at Brentford was pretty solid as well.

Rosler had a great record and I tipped him/wanted him to get the BWFC job a couple of years ago. Always seems to happen like that to managers from lower leagues - Cardiff aren't doing that well under Slade and I've no doubt that Karl Robinson would struggle at this level. So difficult to guess how a manager will do but the fans aren't interested - look at the abuse Gartside gets for his appointments.
