Bad Parking

You'd be surprised how far an excuse like that can get you RT. I drove down to London, 2005 it was, and wanted to turn left at a junction. Instead of sitting in a single file row of cars going straight ahead I cut into the bus lane near the end to speed things up a little. A week later a fine came through the post with a picture of me driving down the bus lane. I wrote to my local MP with the excuse, 'I'm not from London, how was I to know', completely expecting her to tell me to piss off and that I should know what a bus lane is for, but no, she got the fine scrapped. Happy days. Always worth a try, worst they can say is no.
