Here's another motoring-related one:

Knobs who pootle along, totally oblivious to the fact that you are trying to join a motorway or duel carriageway via the slip road and who fail to realise that if they'd just move out into that empty lane to their right, you wouldn't have to keep constantly adjusting your speed like an F-18 pilot coming in to land on a carrier deck.

If the middle lane's full of traffic, fair enough but when there's nobody in it and you still fail to move over or at the very least adjust your own speed to try and accommodate in-coming cars, it's just poor driving.

Joining St Peter's Way at Kearsley, heading towards Bolton is a prime example of this.

Totally agree. Gets me as well that one.

Also people who drive all the way down the down the road or motorway with their indicator on because they've forgot to turn it off.

The woman who got into the jacuzzi with me last night at the gym. I just wanted a relaxing warm down when she climbed in, stretched out, closed her eyes and started moaning - and I mean proper moaning. No evidence of any toys about her person or at least visible outside her bikini but she sounded like she was having a great time. I tried to look indifferent for a couple of minutes until I felt so embarrassed I just got out and left her to it.

If a bloke pulled that stunt he'd be arrested in seconds.

You're a good man. Magoo would have been all over it.

I'll bet most people get out of the Jacuzzi when Magoo gets in it.

Mainly because it probably wasn't a Jacuzzi until he did get in it.

Who gets me on this?

Me..the buggers are always on their bloody mobile phones instead of keeping up with the rest of the traffic. Grrr.
Its traffic, your not going to get anywhere quicker.

So it is you that does it!

What these people don't realise is that further back (and im talking about peak times) in the que the que reached the next set of lights and if 3 people have left gaps, that is 3 less cars getting through the change of lights behind you, in turn making their que longer and so on. It causes blocks and tail backs in various ways but its hard to explain in words....

Its not a little thing as far as I'm concerned norpig. My 8 year old is terrible for this. Literally every dvd case I pick up is either empty or has the wrong one in it. I find them all over the place, most of them scratched. Drives me up the wall.

It's my lads school nativity/carol singing thingy at school today and another one for the nursery kids next week.

The school have said no photos or videos are allowed and it pisses me off. They say you can't because you'll get other people's kids in it and that's against the rules apparently.

They then try to sell you a dvd that you can buy from the school office for 8 quid!

You can't video your children in case you then have a video with other children on it, then they sell you a dvd that has everybody's children on it. Fucking scandalous.

What they mean is, you can't video it because then we won't be able to rip you off next week.

Bastards!

Spot on.

I nearly punched a dolphin trainer in Mexico over this.

(Now there's a sentence you don't say very often.)

He spotted me with my camera trying to take a pic of the dolphins we'd just paid a stupid amount of money to "swim" with (if by "swim" you mean standing up to your waist in the water whilst bored looking dolphins perform various tricks) and accosted me.

"You cannot take peectures, Senor!" he admonished.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Beecause eet ees not allowed."

"Again, why not?" I asked once more.

"Er...beecause eet ascairs thee dolpheens."

"Ah, but your cameras don't though? The ones you take the photos that you try and flog to us for $40 with? Are they special dolphin-friendly cameras?" I ventured.

"Er.....chess, they are." he said, looking a bit sheepish by now.

"Fuck off" said I.

Before taking a load more pictures.

they do let you take pictures or film it at my kids school but they ask that it isn't shared on social media which seems fair enough to me

That I don't mind. Telling me I can't then charging me 8 quid is just taking the piss.

Just be thankful that the headmaster/dolphin trainer didn't drag you out of the venue and administer a good thrashing, which has been known to happen at certain football stadia (no names) when a supporter dared to try and take a photo.

Did the events described ever take place "somewhere in Horwich" by any chance?

I can neither confirm nor deny this. The question is whose Family would Stand for that kind of treatment?
