Our next game is away to Hull at the KC stadium.

Hull are currently 4th in the league with 35 points and I have a feeling that we are going to get battered.

Hull's last 5 Championship games:

Leeds 2-1 Hull
Hull 2-0 Derby
Bristol 1-1 Hull
Hull 3-0 Middlesbrough
Brentford 0-2 Hull

Last 5 meetings between both clubs:

Bolton 4-1 Hull
Hull 3-1 Bolton
Bolton 2-2 Hull
Hull 1-0 Bolton
Bolton 1-1 Hull

My prediction: Hull 3-1 Bolton

Are we all going for a loss?

Ref watch: Michael Bull to officiate Hull City trip

Michael Bull will officiate Bolton Wanderers' latest Sky Bet Championship match as they travel to Hull City on Saturday.

A relative newcomer to the second tier having only taken charge of his maiden Championship clash in February 2014, the official will be overseeing Wanderers for the first time in his career.

Having run the rule over seven games so far this season, Harrington has dished out 17 yellow cards and two red cards - both coming in Yeovil Town's narrow victory over Maidstone in the FA Cup last month.

David Plowright and David Storrie will run the line while Sebastian Stockbridge is the fourth official.

Preview: Hull City v Bolton

SETTING THE SCENE
Bolton Wanderers travel to Hull City on Saturday looking to bounce back from last weekend’s home defeat to Cardiff City.

The Whites are yet to win on their travels so far this season, but face a Tigers side who themselves are coming into the game off the back of a three-match losing run and without a win since the start of November.

However, Steve Bruce’s side boast one of the strongest home records in the Sky Bet Championship having lost just once at the KC Stadium so far this season, ensuring it’ll be another tough test for the Whites as they face a side who were plying their trade in the Premier League last year.

TEAM NEWS
Jose Manuel Casado will miss the trip to the KC Stadium as he serves a one-match ban following his dismissal against Cardiff City.

Mark Davies returns however, having missed Saturday’s game against the Bluebirds through suspension.

Zach Clough (shoulder) and Wellington Silva (hamstring) have stepped up their respective rehabilitations but are not yet ready to return to first team action.

LAST HULL CITY XI (v Leeds United, L2-1)
McGregor, Bruce (Davies 20), Maguire (Akpom 71), Robertson, Elmohamady, Odubajo, Huddlestone, Clucas, Livermore, Diame, Aluko (Snodgrass 81).

ONE TO WATCH
Currently uncertain to face Wanderers as he nurses a minor hamstring injury, Hull City will certainly be keen for Abel Hernandez to recover in time as they look to end their three-match losing run on Saturday.

The Tigers’ leading goalscorer so far this season with eight goals from 18 appearances, the Uruguayan has settled into life in the second tier well having initially struggled in the Premier League as Steve Bruce’s side suffered relegation.

A Copa America winner with Uruguay in 2011, Hernandez still managed marked his Hull debut with a goal against West Ham United after completing a club record move from Palermo, before also netting against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in a challenging first year in England.

Hull away, Charlton away and Fulham at home. How do you "pick up 3 or 4 wins" from that Neil?
It's a good job we don't expect anything.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

We will get smashed to bits here. 4 nil to Hull, and I'm being very optimistic with that prediction. Can see it being more in all honesty.

Exactly. It's all about positive mental attitude. If every conscious being on the planet simultaneously focused on us winning with this kind of positivity, the collective energy might possibly keep our "against" column down to single figures.

Probably not a great deal, no.

But........there are still 81 points up for grabs this season.

So just imagine if you will, a Bolton team freed from the shackling constraints of expectation (because we all know we're going down) and consider the possibility of them going out there every week and playing like a team under absolutely no pressure.

They could all relax for a change and stop snatching at chances.

And you never know, they might actually start converting those chances instead of "doing a Dobbie" every time they get anywhere near the opposition's goal.

And we might win a few games.

And then stay up.

You never know.......

(Ok, we do know - we're going down but I'm trying here.)

I wonder what price you could get on us making the play-offs?

We could make a killing !

(Edit: Just checked. Generally we are about 250/1 to get promoted. That's scandalous. You could add a couple more noughts on the end of that and I still wouldn't lump on.)
