Earlier tonight I was stuck in a Liberal Club in Bury drinking coke, listening to a "wacky" DJ playing One Direction on a loop through broken speakers, surrounded by toothless inbreds and wishing someone would kill me.

So I feel your pain.

My old man swears that when he worked at the power station in the early 70's they played a team of screws medical staff from Winwick who had a ringer who played like George Best but kept picking the ball up every so often and shouting "Behold my orb!"

I think he's making it up but he maintains that it's true.

I was pretty good in those days.

Going to a star wars convention today. In 8 hours to be precise. I know people who are dressing up. I'm wearing my boba fett t-shirt.

What a bummer of a day. Rubbish weather and another defeat.
I'm presently luxuriating in the bath,soothing away my sorrows,and messing about on the laptop.
It's a bit awkward typing,with the bloody thing propped on a chair next to the bath.
I'd have it in front of me on the bath shelf,but the 2 bar electric fire is taking up all the space.
Where's the soap....?
