well i've read it now, not sure what to think but they did say that all 3 of them would not be seeking election to the ST board. I'm still cautiously optimistic

I want to join. I want it to work. But i don't want them owning the club. I just want a board member to be the voice of the fans but not one with a political agenda.

Everybody is rushing into this like it's a new invention that will cure all the ails of the club and it won't. If anything it will limit the clubs ability to compete at a higher level.

"Yea but us the fans will own it" whoop di fucking do. Id rather just be a fan and own a bit of cheap merch from the club shop and still dream of making it back to the top rather than have a 0.0001% share in a club that will never get above league 1 again.

Michael was instrumental in the commissioning and launch of the BWFCForum in response to the club closing the ‘official’ message board 5/6 yrs ago. This effort was to give supporters a platform to voice their opinions. As a strong believer in fans having the right to have their say, Michael wasn’t comfortable with the club trying to silence dissenting voices.

Michael is also a great advocate of Supporters Trusts, believing all fans should have the right to be heard and influential in the running of THEIR club. He was also involved, along with Chris Peacock, in the initial attempts to start a BWFCST 4/5 years ago.

Okay so ive decided to do a bit of a behind enemy lines on the supporters trust to find out what OTHER miserable bar stewards on other forums are saying after the q and a session. It wont be as posh as the layout that others do but here goes.

First i went onto ba - i guess theyve forgot to update who's turn it is to post so onto the next one;

The wanderer forum

I've still got a bunch of questions I asked on here that went unanswered. I believe you were disappointed at us, I'm triply disappointed with you. So neh!

Q. Marc - do you really know much?

Had a Q&A with Marc Illes on BN tonight... and it went potty...over 500 fans signed up to become BWFCST members in an hour...amazing response...
despite that slimy fucker Sluffy and his arse licking lapdogs...(can't believe hes still sore about me leaving BA and setting up here...or is it because we acquiredwww.boltonnuts.com and pointed it at a porn site..? )
(It doesn't point there now...I grew up and pointed it to their site) trying to tarnish my name by suggesting companies that Ive set up (for various reasons, some to prevent my competitors using the names and jo that never really got off the ground due the that fact I was too busy working and one I closed to concentrate on another ) had gone bust....

Disolved Means .... Closed Down, Ceased Trading, Never traded, DISOLVED

You should point the Bolton Nuts URLhere

Momentum seems to be gathering nicely, with most accepting this is being done for the right reason. There a few nut jobs and smartarses who'll piss and moan whilst doing nothing themselves, but they're in the minority.. It's sad that the-wanderer which used to be a good site comes under that category, but then the people who originally formed it have all gone.

Carry on.

Now onto wanderersways

500 fans pledged in the first hour, let's get 5000.

Traf wrote (fooking loads)

This is just a pledge to become a member.

The trust cannot collect any money until they're fully registered with the FCA.

This takes time, but will hopefully be done in the next fortnight.

There's no target of money to be raised as of yet, but they want to be in a position down the line so that IF there becomes a need for money to be raised to try to purchase a share of the club, then they'll be able to sell community shares.

In the interim, the trust will need money to run it, but the FCA registration/membership ensures the money is used properly.

People need to get on the site and register.

There will be an elected bookkeeper. Supporters Direct will also select someone to do it in the meantime.

The Trust has been offered help by a lot of chartered accountants, people with financial knowledge etc. and the members will decide how money is spent. Some running costs like website hosting etc will be necessary but will be transparent.

Until they are able to take money properly - none will be taken. Then we're looking at a £10 contribution plus anything else people feel able/willing to donate to the cause.

If club went into admin, Football League rules state a Trust must be approached by administrator.

They need numbers to prove to them that they are a viable option.

If everyone in that meeting the other night invited one more person, we could have 2,000.

Let's be ambitious so we could demonstrate we are a viable and credible option to be involved in that process.

Thats all i could find really. Will have another try tomorrow and hopfully avoid anymore potty mouth antics from mouth breathers like josh8.
