Anybody else braving the cold and going to one?

Little Hulton Cricket Club for us, so if you're there, 58, and you can spot me, I'll buy you a pint.

There will be clues.

The scar on his previously busted foot?

Maybe he is going to the pub with one shoe on?

I'm being a wimp and staying in tonight as it really is bloody cold out there!

I'm currently sat in my house with the heating racked up on full in my shorts and t-shirt. Very Happy

I'm down at the Anderson shelter. It'll all blow over. I've got rations for a week.

If that was you in the Wanderers scarf holding the little girl near the fence round the bommy, yes that was me in the ridiculous Redskins hat and Bolton scarf.

Bommy nights in Manchester are rubbish, no one has heard of black peas and no one has a proper back street so no one has their own bonfires. Almost makes me wish i was back in Bolton

Used to love the fifth as a kid. Six or seven gangs planning detailed raids on each others stash.

A mattress was something to die for.

I'd forgotten it was Bonfire night. Glad we can't go out, it was my turn in the pram.

Anyone used to do penny for the guy? I remember kids doing it on Halliwell road and sitting outside the pubs to collar the drunks coming out  Very Happy

We did, until dad realised our guy was wearing his best suit. We only got sparklers that year.
