we have enough cloggers in midfield already, we need someone creative. Not saying Chungy or Clough fit that bill but it is what we desperately need.

I think derik needs to be made into defensive midfield enforcer.  Start playing four at the back derik just in front and then two wide one attacking and armstrong and madine upfront.

We don't have any strength in midfield whatsoever. I'd be hard pushed to list three weaker men than Pratley, Karacan(t) and Cullen.

A midfield three of Mr Bean, Mr Humphries form Are You Being Served, and Bungle from Rainbow would look hard compared to our current trio.

That's fine as long as there's money left for what we really need, but I suspect there isn't.
We might get by if Parky sorts out a back four and sticks Derik +1 in front of them, but I'd prefer he brings in a quality midfield beast.
