For arguing with the ref about giving the goalkeeper a free kick.

It should have been a pen to Charles in my eyes!

I understand that Evatt has demanded that the intensity be applied for 90 minutes but there are some situations, like when you’re 3-0 up, that you have to be smart enough to see out the game appropriately. Arguing with the ref when you’re on a yellow card just isn’t smart, especially when you already have a history with him. The knock on effect of Evatt also receiving a red leaves us less strong for a huge game in which we need to show that we can compete in. It’s games like the next against Wigan that will really show whether we’re stronger than we were last season and can be automatic promotion contenders. Risking yourself to get a fourth goal against an already beaten Fleetwood is foolish. The players have to use their heads.
