Neither have been given a game in the first team squad or made the bench since Dougie took over. I thought with Wylde being a Jock, Dougie might have given him the partisan benefit of the doubt because he certainly looked capable in the pre season games.

Good hope Wylde gets some games.

Disappointing that both are deemed not good enough to challenge for a place.

Bury?! Christ how bad is this fella.

Good luck to them both but if we're loaning him to Bury then what the hell were coyles scouts doing recommending him.

Sordell up next for loan?

Marvin Sordell is one of a handful of Wanderers stars who could be allowed to leave the club on loan today.

The £3million striker has struggled to hold down a regular place at the Reebok this season, and has yet to feature at all under new boss Dougie Freedman.

Wylde was never brought in to be a star, we offered 100,000 for him before they went bust and they turned it down, but we didn't up the offer.

So we clearly never thought he would go straight into the first team, we have paid more that that for total unknowns, but we had an opportunity to sign the same promising young player for free a few months later, nothing wrong with that.

I think the error Coyle made was constantly moaning in the media about his clearance not coming through, making everyone think he was meant to be a first team player when really he was just trying to find excuses.

A loan to Bury will be good for both of us, Blackwell is doing a very very good job there since he joined, and Bury have a few ex players doing well in the football leagues.

This is rather baffling. There must be something we are not being told regarding Sordell. He scored a few goals for Watford in the Championship so perhaps it isn't football related ?

It's bloody madness either way, if he hasn't got a striker lined up to come in on loan to replace him then there is no sense in sending him out at all.

Gregg Wylde has been snapped up by Bury on a month’s loan.
The former Rangers winger will go straight into the Shakers squad for their League One match at home to Bournemouth tomorrow in a deal that will run until at least December 22.

There are also reports that Tranmere have moved for Wanderers striker Michael O'Halloran after the Merseysiders' bid for former Bury striker Ryan Lowe was rebuffed by his current club MK Dons.

If we played Bury away right now is there any doubt that they would beat us !!!

Now if we can loan SKD out to Oldham and Ngog to a Farnworth 11 then we can put Zat up front and Bogdan on the left wing.....he is right footed but Doog is a genius. Laughing

It's that twitter saga that Douugie doesn't like...

Just because Bury are shite doesn't mean Wylde is.

I've always thought he's good enough to be making our bench personally but then again i only saw him in SPL games so that can be deceiving.

I hope he gets a run out at least, lots of pace and a good cross on the lad.

Bury aren't a poor team, since Blackwell joined they have had one of the best forms in League 1

5 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses in their last nine games.

If he can get that out of the same players he had when he joined (I don't think they had won a game) then hes clearly good at getting the best out of a player.

I think it will be great for Wylde, and he can return fit.

And Bury don't have any really strong left wingers so he should be easily starting

I think Wylde is a good lad who has shown a lot of promise. His getting games elsewhere and being off our wages list for a while is win-win in my humble opinion.

I thought whilst a player was on loan that the wages were paid 50/50?

Even a part of our wages saved, helps.
