DF talked about squad rotation, but that doesn't seem to be happening with the strikers and Sordell must have pleasured his wife to become so ostracised, but I would like to see a bit more variation up front.
DF seems insistent on playing with one striker but keeps getting forced into throwing on another - which seems to work - so why won't he start with two?

We started with two strikers two games ago.

And Afobe, Davies and N'gog have all had their fair share of game time, its only Sordell who hasn't but there is clearly a large problem there.

I would like to see more variation up front but at the moment that can't be blamed on Dougie, we lack enough strikers, we have Davies, who plays well and still imo does his role but obviously isn't enough, N'gog who can go all game unnoticed sometimes and Afobe who is just crap. Just have to wait for January

I actually think January will be a key time in our fortunes this season. Dougie and Lenny will most certainly have their eye on one or two new players coming in to spice things up.

At this rate, I can see Sordell doing an exit stage left.

Obviously happy with the result (and a clean sheet!) but still mystified by Dougie's team selection. SKD on for the whole game as usual; no sign of Sordell or Riley even on the subs bench; Mears still selected.

At least he got the substitutions right - something Coyle never got right.

It sounds as if Chungy was pretty ineffective today so how about putting Petrov on from the start against posh and have Lee on the bench?

Fooking shite for about 70 minutes, plenty of possession, but we lacked penetration. Dougie was spot on with his subs. I just wish N'Good could be more consistent on a regular basis.

Thanks for your concern. A mixture of Imodium, Complan and Epsom salts seems to have done the trick.

Riley put something on Twitter the other day, someone he knew asked him if he was still at Bolton and his reply was just ''yes, for now''

Happy to have been able to help. I will have another bash on News Years day when we play Leeds for those who can't make the game.

Will be in Glasgow on new Years Day, but will see if I can get to use my iPad. English football in Scotland isn't usually covered that well. Smile

Glos, you should have some fun with Hogmanay. My parents are round on New Years Day so an away game is out of the question.

Hopefully for 2nd half of season I should be able to see more games as i will be in Uk, training purposes only. Been told that todays game was very dire.

But, to be fair, don't care how dire, just as long as we get the required points!!!!

3 points and a clean sheet will do for me this week - as I say we will probably be dire until at least the january windows which is only 16 days away!!!!

It must cost you a bloody fortune in batteries. Have you considered purchasing a generator ?

You may not have quite got the joke inf, in England 'sparky' is also a slang word for electrician.

Then again your electrician may be injured just like Mark Davies is too!

Dont know if its been mentioned already, too lazy to look, but apparently its the first time charlton have lost away since september so to get the win and a clean sheet makes it even better!
