For the sake of 5 days? To make money for charity and give a legend a proper send off, the club should bend their guidelines.

Don't be so sure. There were over 9,000 there for Jussi's testimonial.

Testimonials haven't been about a financial send off for a long time, it's just a mark of respect to players who have served the club well.

It would be a waste of time, few would go.

so? Its doesn't have to be a full stadium to be worthwhile.

Oh right, just because I don't love Kevin Davies I can't be a Bolton fan?

You sad fucker. I have better things in my life than worshipping a bunch of ladyboys who wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes 40 years ago.

Trust me, on my death bed I won't be thinking about BWFC.

How warming to the soul to know I've hit the G spot!
As for your forty years comment, is that based on fact and you are betraying your declared age or are you going off hearsay?
I can comfortably say I witnessed the game in that era and know full we'll who would have the pedigree to last the course! Some people better qualified than me and most certainly you, say that Pele and Gearge Best wouldn't last in this era, but that was then and this is now, you get back to your knitting and I'll get back to watching the football!!

It's not about the 5 days, we're just not big on goodbyes.

He misses out on 10 years by 5 days, that's why he's not been given a testimonial?

We gave Jussi one in 2009 because he reached 10 years, Bibi's due to have his soon.

I actually think the club will give him a testimonial. If all proceeds go to his charity then it's a win-win for all concerned.

I really can't see why fans are getting so worked up about him not getting a testimonial.

It would be much easier just going round with buckets in the last few home games of the season and asking fans to donate to SKDs charity instead of opening up the stadium again a few weeks later for fans to watch a painful game of football with ex footballers and celebrities.

I just don't agree with testimonials.

Another good reason to have one is , bringing back all the ex legends, so we can all take the piss out of them for being "now" shit , and sing the old songs to them.

And if AK turns up we can give him loads of abuse, for wearing a UTD shirt.

And if anybody actually cares about football ...... I said months ago SKD had scored his last goal for BWFC.....now if the Doog was planning to get rid why has SKD been taking a space that should have gone to other strikers?
Thanks to SKD though ....he has been the source of constant debate and entertainment for years. It would seem like he would like to stay at the club which is refreshing these days. In a footballing sense this should have been done 2 years ago.
Interesting to see the team now for Charlton.
