Just had to check it isn't April 1st. I think Rovers will sell but Premier League is where he should be aiming. Better spend the money on Dawson and Beckford if there is any money at all.

Well, Nixon is going to look a right bellend, If Dougie doesn't put in a bid for Rhodes. Nixon has been piping on for many weeks now about this big striker that Dougie wants and he's finally given the name.

I'm not saying we're going to sign Rhodes, but let's just wait and see if Nixon's tweets are more accurate than the famous BEN and their mouthpiece Mark Iles.

20-25 goal a season strikers don't come cheap , so £5-6million could be a steal.

I'd be more inclined to go for Le Fondre, with McDermott gone he may be unsettled.

If we have 9 million to spend now, why the feck didnt we spend it to stay in the PL? This story is just that, a story. We'll sign Beckford, and only one other if we offload Ngog or Sordell (more likely to be Sordell)

Talk of big signings can provoke feelings of optimism, excitement and encouragement at where the club is setting its sights. In isolation, it's not a reason to buy a season ticket, but it's something that could spin it for many dimwits that are 50/50.

I'm amazed this story has even got legs, we didn't spend £9million in the prem, why would E.Davies suddenly stump up that sort of cash now?....Just doesn't make sense. 

If we have £9million to spend then it would be foolish to blow it all on one player IMO.

See you're all missing the point here, we won't be paying 9 million, if you read Nixons story properly, we will take over Blackburns debt to Huddersfield, which means Blackburn paid 3.5 million upfront, with payments over a set period of time, we just pay the difference which is 5 million so Blackburn get to pay off Huddersfield.

Rhodes now at 1/2 to sign for us.

Is that good?
