I object to the insinuation that people calling her names on social media are "internet trolls".

Nice that she felt the need to buy £9,000 worth of designer crap and seemingly nothing for her kids.

It seems to be the norm these days unfortunately 74', it's all me, me, me these days with the current generation of people.

They all seem to be wired up wrong these days.

She is typical of everyone under 30 these days - it really is time for a cull.

Would they be expected to know what was theirs and what wasn't?

Yes as you would be doing your accounts or at least someone would be doing them!

The point I'm making is that there could be instances where people are paid money in error and they spend it without realising.

In this case, she should have known (and did know) that the money wasn't hers, because it was an extraordinary amount. But what if it hadn't been an extraordinary amount?
Where do you draw the line between "this person should have known the money wasn't theirs" and "this person made an honest mistake"?

If you can have £50,000 go into your account and spend it without noticing anything, then it's fair to assume you can afford to give £50,000 back.

My local bookie once overpaid me to the tune of £224 and I didn't say a thing. Am I a bad man?

No.

All bookies are evil bastards.

I once left one job to start a new one and they kept paying me for another two months.

I stuck it in the savings account and waited for a letter but none came.

And it paid for a nice trip to Mexico for me and The Boss.

If they'd been alright with me, I'd have said something but they were funny with me when I handed my notice in, so fuck 'em.
