IMO their is way too much focus being put on brining the Juke back, he was decent but only decent.

I refuse to believe we can't afford another striker who will do the same job and score more goals.

For the record have you seen how much Burnley have paid... just over £2million!   

With Nat on this one..... can't see what all the fuss is about for Boggers.  Not dominant in his box IMO.

Compare with Tim Howard for example...... complete control of everything in and around him.

As for Juke that is a shame if true.  I thought he held the ball up well and brought others into the play. Not to mention some goals of his own.  So currently we have no one to hoof it to in the box......nice work Phil & Co.

Lukas Jutkiewicz is expected to complete his move to Burnley by the end of play today.

Boro have agreed a fee with the newly promoted Premier League side and the striker is believed to be in the North-west putting the finishes touches to the transfer.

Both clubs agreed on a fee over the weekend and the player, who is keen to make the move, has been at Turf Moor today talking personal terms and taking a medical.

The Gazette understands Burnley will pay a hefty fee up front as part of a package with add-ons and performance bonuses that could be worth up to £2.25m.

Seriously doubt there's anything in the Henderson rumour. Sounds like there are a number of championship clubs looking for a striker, think we're going to have to spread our net very wide now.

I agree - it was as if he was the only player on the planet who could do the required job.
Perhaps he is though.
Now we'll see who else Dougie had scouted, but I'm not optimistic if he was holding out for Juke.
We certainly need a finisher up front and if we're after real quality we're more likely to find it via a loan than an outright buy in our price range unless there is magic afoot.

Nixon seems to think Gambou is either signing for Derby or a prem club and that Andrews to Huddersfield is off because Andrews is pissing around.

No news on a striker.
