Christ, Boggers, with all due respect, pull your head out of your arse, stop relying on social media for "the truth", think for yourself and draw your own conclusions based on the evidence before your own eyes.
They were sat next to each other in a box at the stadium.
It doesn't matter if some parochial journalist (who obviously knows nothing more concrete than we do about what's going on) has tweeted to say that DH and this guy don't know each other.
And then DH "likes" this comment.
They're in a fucking photograph together, so even if it is true that they'd only just met (which I don't believe for one minute, by the way), the fact remains that there's obviously a link between the two.
And however you spin that, I don't like it.

Didn't Cellino try that at Leeds and still get kicked into touch by the League? He put his shares in his daughter's name and said he had no official link to or day to day dealings with the club but the League basically said male bovine excrement and told him to sell it all pronto.JAH wrote:He wouldn't be able to run it officially, but that just means his name won't be down on paper. Officially he'll use his wife's or his sons name. Unofficially he could do whatever he wanted. If our existing crooks sell to these new crooks we should start a worldwide man hunt to drag ED and Gartside back to Bolton dead or alive!

If the picture is that crook and holdsworth is denying knowing him, we are absolutely buggered! If they end up being the only bid, ED will sell to them.

This latest instalment in the sorry saga that is Bolton Wanderers Football Club is further proof of what a clown Eddie Davies is.
The club's been up for sale for over a year now, but here we are, right down to the wire (Administration "early next week" according to Birch if a deal doesn't get done) and that's why he's having to entertain these dodgy bastards.
"Eddie wants the best for the club!" is the cry from certain sections of the support.
Well, perhaps he should have made the proposition more appealing twelve months ago when we still had parachute payments to fund the day to day expenses then.
That way, he might have had a fighting chance of off-loading the club to someone respectable, instead of having to deal with this fucking lot.
He's brought this on himself and I honestly think he doesn't give a shit who he sells to - seriously.
And here's why:
He has a choice - Hand over some of Moonshift's cash to stave off Administration or keep it in his pocket and do a deal with these fucking idiots.
And what's he doing?
Well, he's obviously not splashing the cash, is he?
Realistically he must have known 12 months ago that the only way he'd sell the club (and avoid having to waste any more of Moonshift's cash) was to wipe the (made-up) debt and do what he's been forced to do now.
But it's taken 12 months and a further £10m in monthly losses to get to that point.
The man isn't a fan, he's a fucking leech.
And a fucking stupid one at that.

Iles has now confirmed via Twitter that it was indeed Disley sat next to Holdsworth in that box yesterday but the official line is that they don't know each other, had only just met and Disley definitely isn't involved with SSI.
It was all just a big old coincidence.
And we're expected to take Iles' word for all this and not worry about it because neither the club or SSI are saying anything on the subject.
Utter fucking tripe, every word.
Here's an idea:
If there really is nothing more to this than some unfortunate seating plan cock-up, like you get at weddings, why doesn't Holdsworth come out and go on record to deny knowing the guy?
And clearly state that he's definitely, absolutely, 100% not involved in SSI's takeover bid.
Could it be because that may come back to bite him on the arse, 6 months down the line when it all comes out in the wash and it becomes apparent that Holdsworth is actually full of shit?

This can only happen to us, most clubs get bought out by someone with a big idea and enough money to waste to go for it, not us, we get Del Boy,
Holdsworth shafted us last time around and it looks like history will repeat it's self

Holdsworth didn't know him before the game but by the end he'd bought a timeshare off him for a Spanish villa.

I'm pretty sure Disley won't be allowed to invest in us in any way shape or form. The FA refused to allow Massimo Cellino to give his shares to his daughter and put her in his place as chairman/woman of the club even after he gave assurances he would not be involved in any way with the clubs operations. This happened BEFORE he was convicted of any crime even in Italy. So I'm more or less certain that a man with a serious fraud conviction here in England won't be allowed to have any part of any consortium, not even as a silent partner. Could this be the reason Birch said none of the bids met the criteria? That he knew SSI would fail a FPP test with Disley aboard in any role at all?

A conman dubbed the "King of Marbella" and his three accomplices have been jailed over a £675,000 bank fraud.
The scam allowed leader John Disley, 46, of Hertfordshire, to lead a lavish lifestyle in Spain, the court heard.
The group bought companies in trouble and used them to withdraw large sums of cash from the Royal Bank of Scotland just before cheques bounced.
From their office near Preston they electronically moved the cash to other accounts, the city's crown court heard.
Disley, whose office was in Little Hoole, claimed he was restructuring the businesses but instead stripped them of assets and used them to set up bank accounts, obtaining cash through fraudulent cheques, the court heard.
When he was arrested he was convinced the scam would not be traced back to him and told detectives he was "more worried about it snowing".
Disley, of Old House Lane, Kings Langley, earned his Marbella nickname from expats in Spain who saw him as a multi-millionaire living a champagne lifestyle, when in reality he was bankrupt.
His lavish lifestyle included splashing out £30,000 for a palm tree at his villa.
He was found guilty last month of conspiracy to defraud £675,937 from the Royal Bank of Scotland, as well as £214,000 from a financial services company, between May and December 2010.
Sentencing him to four-and-a-half years in prison at Preston Crown Court, Judge Heather Lloyd said: "Your arrogance was apparent when arrested.
"You did not think for one moment that the prosecution would succeed.
"You gave other people scripts to follow but the evidence against you was overwhelming and the jury saw right through you."
Jonathan Stowell, 41, of Bradshawgate, Bolton, and Stuart Hegarty, 44, of Helston Drive, Nottingham, were convicted of the same charge after the seven-week trial.
Disley's "right-hand woman" and personal assistant, Victoria Quinn, 40, from Accrington, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud in October.
Stowell was sentenced to 15 months, Hegarty was jailed for 12 months and Quinn to two years.
Disley was also disqualified from being a company director for eight years, Stowell for three years and Quinn for five years.
It's not right that criminals like Disley should live beyond their means
Det Con Keith Allen, Lancashire Police
Judge Lloyd said Disley could be "intimidating when crossed" and described Quinn as a "thoroughly dishonest woman" with a string of convictions for fraud and theft.
Stowell would help Disley find the businesses to buy and exploit, while Hegarty knowingly paid in cheques from an account which had been closed for some time, the court heard.
Royal Bank of Scotland bank manager Russell Alker, 39, of Preston, Lancashire, who worked at a branch in Wigan, was alleged to be an "inside man", but was cleared by the jury of any involvement in the fraud.
Thomas Aldred, 24, of Preston, the ex-boyfriend of Disley's daughter, Laura, was also cleared.
The convictions followed a two-year investigation by the Lancashire Constabulary Financial Investigation Department, during which inquiries were carried out across the country.
Det Con Keith Allen said: "Disley believed he was above the law.
"He portrayed himself as a legitimate multi-millionaire businessman when in fact he was a bankrupt who made his living by asset-stripping companies which were in financial difficulty.
"It's not right that criminals like Disley should live beyond their means, essentially at the cost of law-abiding members of the community."
A proceeds of crime hearing is scheduled for next March.

Please remember though that Mr Disley has been caught and punished for his crimes and so if it is him he is free to watch the game with presumably his friends and get involved in any venture within the terms of any legal constraints that may still be imposed upon him.
So no libellous comments about him or anyone else please!
Ha. Interesting.
I was personally d*fr**d*d by these clowns. Realised what was going on. Got my f*m*ly thr**t*n*d. Lost all my money and more.
Dirty bastards. Didn't get caught for what happened to me but knew it would catch them up.

Boggers reckons the Far Eastern bid is still the front runner.
Deano claims he has never met Disley before the match day.
So what if that's true and Disley is in fact working for the Far Eastern consortium? Or Stelios' consortium? That would explain his presence and Deano's lack of knowledge of him.
Looking at this another way, what is Disley doing in the Director's box if he has nothing to do with any of the bids?
