I agree about the confidence thing, especially for individuals but recent history would suggest pre season friendly results mean nothing so... Not really much to say.

And of course if we won 9-0 the same people moaning would be saying "Why are people happy about a meaningless friendly, they should be scoring 20 against shit like this"

There'd be a few "Chrcetrs" (Characters) giving it the big one trust me.

I still am not overly worried by the tour of scotland but what is a concern is how easily our defence is still being pulled about and the lack of goals.

Whether it was just because they didn't go all out being a pre-season friendly or whatever but it sounds like the old mistakes from last season still haven't been learned from.

Well last season (i think) we beat a few duff teams 3-1 4-1 2-0 and then went on to have our worst start ever.

Boro shipped 7 passed these blokes a few days earlier .....we apparently looked slow and plodding.....most teams have the same level of fitness at this point....I'm not buying it.
To boot a totally unfit Bolton should be more than enough for Falkirk.
All I'm saying is my confidence is low until further notice. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise.

All I'm saying is there's no reason to get more or less confident from these results, they mean nothing at all. I'd maybe worry if we lost 7-0 to Falkirk but we drew 1-1.
