Phil Parkinson has confirmed Wanderers’ interest in MK Dons’ Chuks Aneke – but claims other targets are more pressing for the club.

Speaking after the 2-2 draw with Bristol City, the Bolton boss admitted he had been tracking the 25-year-old attacker, who was left out of his team’s victory over Bury.
Parkinson has played down local reports claiming a loan move to the University of Bolton Stadium is imminent.
"He's a player we've looked at and who has got potential but there's nothing right at this moment," he told The Bolton News.

"There are other areas we would like to get a couple of proven Championship players in the squad, first and foremost, and with the money available that's what I have got to work towards."

MK boss Paul Tisdale has confirmed Aneke is discussing a move away.
"It's still not confirmed but we are in talks with another club and until that goes through, it is what it is - it's not confirmed. We have a lot of things to focus on but it will probably manifest itself in the next couple of days whether he's going or not," he said in the MK Citizen.

Bolton chairman Ken Anderson claims Wanderers are speaking with two strikers, a left-back and a goalkeeper with a view to loaning them before the end of the month.
Aneke has played much of his football for the Dons as an attacking midfielder or number 10 but has also played as a centre-forward.
