I tried this with my Mum, with similar results.

Not really my cup of tea. I'm not too keen on the lining, but each to his own. Decent slippers though.

I always wear mine without socks, but don't judge me.  

I got given half an advocado topped with a runny egg and some bacon this morning.

I'm sure you can imagine my face when I was presented with this.

Have you ever had any with that kind of lining Bonce?

The reason I am asking is because I have had 2 similar pairs from M&S and I'm wondering if it is causing friction with my socks and causing a build up of static?

I keep getting shocks when touching anything metal!

On another note, do you not find that without wearing socks that your feet sweat in slippers?

Pretty much.

The only reason to put something on top of an avocado, would be in an attempt to hide it.

I'd eat my own socks if the only alternative was an avocado.

As for the slippers, I find my feet don't sweat without socks, but I often end up with a rash, hence 

I prefer no such lining.
