I'm not sure how me voting Labour will help middle class families in the US.

You can't make the poor rich by making the rich poor.

I think you are missing the point. The rich are making everyone poorer with their greed. This is having a serious impact on the lives of most of us.

All left wing policy calls for making the rich poorer. They don't wish to lift low earners up they wish to bring the rich down to the the level of the poor.
Having said that the modern Tory party don't wish to lift anyone up either. It's a perfect storm.

Labours idea to introduce a wage cap where highest earners could only earn twenty times more than the lowest would have put that choice in companies hands.
Again though, prejudice ahead of facts etc etc.

Stop the rich getting even richer would be a start. There is only so much cake and the rich are already eating far more than their fair share.

Neither of the current main parties have ever expressed a political will to make things fairer because we live in a capitalist society that encourages competition and it is a fact that once people are winning, it is a lot easier for them to stay ahead because they then have the resources to do so. Inevitably then, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer - apart from a few cases where the rich in question have been incompetent/stupid and blown their advantageous position.
It could be argued that a new party is required, but those in power in a bipartite system have the resources to stay there. Can't see that changing in my lifetime.

Rebalancing society is pretty much the main aim of the Labour Party under Corbyn so that’s just not true. Whether or not you think their policies would be effective is a different matter.

Yes, as I said they wish to bring the rich down rather than lift the poor up.

And you are happy for the rich to keep ripping the rest of us off presumably.

That’s not what the policy is though is it, so again you’d rather it fit your narrative so you don’t need to take a serious view on it.

You probably would if the rich paid their fair share of tax rather than avoided/evaded it.

Hardly. Wages for middle earners like myself always stagnate. Under labour their plans to tax the rich are purely to hand the takings out in benefits.
