Hasn't Daryl Murphy resigned? Boggers seemed to think so but Iles saying Faal is the only other striker.

The deals done, just waiting for the club to officially announce it - probably with one of those video 'reveal' things they seem to do these days.

No Murphy's contract has expired (along with all the others) and he's a free agent.

Possibly Murphy might have been plan B if they had not got Doyle but I doubt even that myself.

Now this is a player that makes a bit more sense if we are going down the passing game route. He ain't great but from the little I've seen of him i.e. highlights on Quest, he certainly does try to play in that way.

TBF a lot of his goals are pens but he seems decent at L2 standard. Signings like this indicate that FV don't plan on hanging around in L2 - maybe they're betting the farm on promotion?

Guessing based on this week we will find out pretty quickly, need to see Doyke confirmed and move on.

The plot thickens. Murphy allegedly offered a contract with Waterford - whose owner also happens to be the chairman of Swindon whence Doyle came.

Wondering if it's all part of the same deal?
