Been looking at those 'simple' funeral plans, and I can get cremated for under a grand. I'll have some of that.

HACKER DES PLACES

Hacker Des Places has been declared to run in the 1.07 at Wincanton on Sunday 25 October, a Class 4 juvenile hurdle over 1m7f+.

There are seven declared runners and Bryan Carver, who claims 5lb, is booked to ride Hacker Des Places.

Paul Nicholls says Hacker Des Places is working well at home and his schooling has been 'as good as any juvenile I've seen recently', which is very encouraging. Paul says this looks a weak race to start him off in, and his 6lb penalty (for his hurdles win in France, for his previous owners) is partially offset by conditional jockey Bryan Carver's 5lb claim. Paul hopes that Hacker Des Places will run very well on Sunday, but has warned that if the course receives no further rain and he thinks the ground is too firm, he may not run.

Another of my wife's horses, first time out for Nicholls, probably short priced favourite.

Cheers Cajun. It's 5/4 in todays paper. Previously trained by Francois Nicolle. I'll have a look tomorrow and see what price Ladbrokes have it.

Came 2nd at 4/9f. I didn't back it. Think there's better to come though. I'll keep following it.
