Well that’s been circulating for days now piggy and nothings happened, but they have yesterday signed a left back from Lincoln, Cohen Bramall for a fee. They don’t have a lot of money so maybe a deal with us for Marlon isn’t completely dead yet? The Millers fans certainly aren’t talking about Fossey going there.

That's a stretch but I can sort of see a reason why that might be considered as a possibility as he does put himself about and holds the ball up better than Baka plus he has decent feet - but that's at National League level.

Bakayoko is ok but not sure when he starts that he makes as much impact as when he comes off the bench. JDB is in front of him for me.

I would like to us sign another striker so we have extra competition and back up.

We need better than the current roster to have a chance of auto promotion. Mr Evatt needs to get his arse in gear. Proven striker, winger and CB needed with NOTHING in the pipeline. Tom Bharkuzien sees us as a second choice.

I thought there was a plan b and a plan C - so this "nothing in the pipeline" business is a bit of a worry.

Conor Bradley joined us on a season-long loan. Surely that puts an end to the Fossey rumours?

Exactly what I was thinking. Problem is it's a loan so we're likely to be facing the same problem again next season.

Now we've got Conor Bradley on loan I'm optimistic we'll stick with the theme and get Conor Coventry from West Ham.
Rumour is that they're thinking of putting him out for loan or sale next season and if the opportunity arose I'd be buying him now as I expect him to be in Declan Rice class within a couple of years.
Even at 22 he's a massive upgrade on MJ but given that he's already an international and has played for the WHU first team I suspect his price tag might just be out of our reach.
