The weirdo at number 36 is on his front lawn again. He's never been the same since he lost his job at Tesco.

RIP John Motson. Truly the end of an era.

Grew up with him commentating the England games on the beeb I think.

I remember him having a great voice.

Bonce's own personal thread. Volume X - Page 10 HackerdesplacesHACKER DES PLACES

We received the very disappointing news last night (27 February) that Hacker Des Places has sustained an injury to his right fore tendon. This injury means that Hacker Des Places will now embark on a rehabilitation programme, which will put him on the sidelines for at least a year. To give him the best possible chance of a full recovery and to minimise the risk of this injury recurring, we would not expect Hacker Des Places to return to training until the summer of 2024, in time for an autumn/winter campaign that year.

As soon as the Paul's vet is happy for him to move, Hacker Des Places will head to EquiPrep to continue his rehabilitation. Hacker Des Places has had another wonderful season and his win at Cheltenham at the end of January was a career highlight. He will be withdrawn from his two possible options at the Cheltenham Festival in due course (The County Hurdle and Martin Pipe Hurdle, both on Friday 17 March).

We are very sorry to have to relay this news, but we are hopeful that Hacker Des Places will be able to make a return to action next year once his rehabilitation is complete
That's a real sickener following the retirement of Calva Dauge.

That's rotten luck. Let's hope he makes a full recovery.

Just watched Warrington beat Salford in Super League. We were up 20-6 at half time, but couldn't put a single point on the board in the second half, and ended up losing 36-20.
I put money on us @ 4/1. This is turning into a bad week.

Free at last! Free at last!
Free from what I hear you ask. Or not. Maybe Lineker is the only story.
What I'm free of, is my iPhone case, that big lump of rubber that sits around my phone, gripping it like that horrible thing on John Hurt's face in ALIEN.
Suddenly, my sleek, rather beautiful iPhone, emerges, like a butterfly, and is free to show its gaudy colours to the world.
I'm pretty sure, of course, that it's likely to take a fateful tumble down the steps to the upper West Stand, and lie cracked and broken at the bottom. But I'm willing to take that chance.
Anyone else go case free?
