Must admit i thought he'd never come back and be the player he was before his injury.

Now, i think this lad is making really good progress, scored a really good goal yesterday, ok, it was a bad pass from their defender, but he read it perfectly and scored.

I don't agree. I'm only going off league games as I didn't go yesterday but he's been one of the worst performers this season. Can't cross, little pace.

You don't seem to rate anyone. I've never seen you praise one of our players.

Give me one worthy of praise.

Think Chungy might deserve a teeny weeny bit of praise for scoring in two of our last three games. One we won, t'other we drew v Prem opposition.

FFS give the lad a break.

I was worried at the start of the season as he didn't seem to be fully commited but in the last 3 games he has stepped it up.

I just wish he would start running at the defence more like he used to do when we first signed him.

I actually wish in a roundabout way that he had stayed wank till feb.

Jan is transfer time...clubs are sniffing round him..

That chance would have been fluffed by many players - credit to him for putting it away smartly.

He signed a new deal not long ago, he isn't going anywhere for less than 7million.

He will leave if we fail to go up though. Along with mavies, Holden (if he says fit)

So they're off then?

I'll ask you again seeing as you avoided the question....which of the players deserves praise for their performances this season?

Quite. Does anyone actually think we are going to be promoted this season?

I think that with the return of Holden, Vela and eventually Wheater, we'll be more competitive as a squad. Perhaps two of the proposed signings may have an impact this season. However, having a competitive squad doesn't mean we'll start to get things our own way. We are a few wins behind the playoff places and in order to get a chance of promotion we have to win consistently whilst others drop points - it may be too late already. A lot depends on DF and how he utilises the squad (and tweaks the system to suit) - so far there's not much indication that he's willing to shift from the template that has got us into so much trouble, but we'll have to wait and see. Either way it will take a humungous effort to start a winning streak and keep it going to the end of the season from this position. Promotion is possible but unlikely IMO.

You seem to want our players to always perform badly due to fear of losing them to bigger clubs.

Hes under contract, and won't leave unless we get silly money. As is the same with our youngsters (or at least the decent looking ones) who you also seem to be paranoid about being stolen with no benefit to us.

Football isn't a game of cops and robbers, money has to be exchanged.

Ask a Plymouth fan if they would prefer a few players good enough to have bigger clubs sniffing around them or if they are happy because at least no one wants them.

Good performances are always good news. We get the improved results in the short -term, player resale value rises and if we are doing well as a result of the good performances it reduces the pressure to sell. Either way we win. Poor performances on the other hand means we are forced to sell players at giveaway prices, reducing our capacity to bring in more quality. No-brainer really.

CYL currently valued at £6.6 million on transfermarkt - that's a surprise to me. Buying him at £2.2 million is looking like a very astute piece of business ATM.
