There are many good people in the world and I am sure there are many here. But what is, in your opinion, your greatest act of kindness?

Mine is seeing an elderly man in a mobility scooter, just sat in it not moving. I asked him was he OK and he told me the battery had run out, so couldn't get back home. I, being the kind hearted man I am, told him I would push home back home, and I did. Bit of a sore back, but felt good doing it.

I met a blind woman, who looked very confused, so i asked was she ok,
She told me she had lost her way, so i pointed her in the right way, wish i had never met her now.
As she proceeded on her way, i glanced back out the car, not good she was ran over by a truck it didn't look good.
On the news that night guess what i saw, yes a dead blind woman ran over by a truck.

I was walking to the shop to get a paper, then out of the corner of my eye was a lad about eighteen "crying " getting pushed about by about twelve skinhead men in their 30s."big bastards, the lot of them".

I tried reasoning with them to stop and one said" what you gonna do punk " blew smoke in my face, then spat on my shoe.

Two minutes later, after a few moves of karate , they was all on their back begging me to stop.

I gave the lad money for his bus and sent him on his way.

Anybody would of done the same.

I helped a Quadraplegic (?) when he was left alone on the platform at Paddington in his wheelchair. He indicated on a board that he was waiting for help, but it hadnt arrived. Went for help/stationmaster, and got the guy sorted out. Felt really good when he pointed at the square that said 'Thank you'. (Saved a friends life at work, when he had a heart atttack, but that doesn't really count as I was the first aider)

I stopped my brother from watching Highlander 2. He loves the first film and I have to say I do too. Then I watched the second and was distraught to see it was horrible. Still have flashbacks/nightmares of the cruel 2 hours watching this film. It will forever haunt me. He told me he is going to give it a go but I convinced him otherwise after breaking down crying and warned him that he will want to pull his eyes out after.

Best act of kindness ever.

My greatest act of kindness?

Not beating up a guy in a wheelchair who abused me for my preference of football team. He was an Evertonian!
