Who Should Be Our Next Manager?

Hopefully Dougie will be on his way in the next few days and the search will be on for the next Bolton manager.

The bookies rarely get it wrong, it would be extremely unlikely if the new manager didn't come from the following list, these are the 16 leading candidates according to Bet Victor:

Some of those scare me. If we ended up with Tony Mowbray I would get "Chorley FC Forever" tattooed on my wonky left breast and never set foot in the Reebok again.

I would feel almost as depressed if Chris Coleman or Iain Dowie got the job.

I wouldn't be against Zola, at least we know we'd try and play football and he probably has a few connections in Italy. But my first choice would be Di Canio, he'd bring some much needed character to the Reebok.

So who would be your choice from the stated candidates?

I have gone for Di Matteo.

Alan Irvine is 66/1, Hipster will be pleased.

Zola's just an Italian Owen Coyle, clueless. Off that list I'd be happy with Butcher, Pressley, Hoddle, Davies or Di Matteo. But the only one I think we'd stand a chance of getting is Pressley, which would be a similar gamble to that of Dougie.

I'm going for either Malky Mackay or Billy Davies.

I'm sure Terry Butcher owned a second hand car showroom!

Can't get my head around why Billy Davies's name's on there, why on earth would he leave Forest? Mackay can't take another job until he's sorted out his legal case with Tan. Even when he is available though I think he'll be able to do better than us.
